Poly(vinyl alcohol) (also known as PVOH, PVA, or PVAl) is a waterbased synthetic polymer. PVOH glues are mainly used in papermaking, textiles, board manufacturing and various coatings. PVOH is white in solid and colourless and odorless when solved in water.
