Profile wrapping

Wrapped profiles are often used components in manufacturing furniture and building interiors. Thes profiles are often used as furniture decor, wall and ceiling panels, drawer frames, baseboards and doorframes. Profile wrapping is one of the most diverse application with every day new substrates used. Wrapping materials can be chosen from an almost endless variety of foils, papers or veneers. Basic substates for profiles may differ widely, from solid wood and wood-based substrates, plastics, aluminium and metal profiles are wrapped.
The most used technology is application by width-adjustable slotcoat nozzles. Every increasing line speeds can require high tack pur hot melt adhesives where modern lines can reach up to 100 m/min.
